Michael Miller Case
Authorities say a man has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and daughter and wounding his young son in a suspected domestic violence incident Saturday at their Glendale home.
Police say 29-year-old Michael Miller is being held on two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder.
They say Miller is accused of killing his 28-year-old wife Adreana Miller and their 10-year-old daughter.
The couple’s 4-year-old son remains in critical condition at a Glendale-area hospital but authorities say the boy is expected to survive.
Police won’t say how the mother and daughter were killed or what caused the boy’s injuries.
Officers say Michael Miller called 911 and was outside the home when they arrived at the scene about 5 a.m. Saturday.

Michael Miller Sentencing
Michael Miller stood remorseless as he listened to his sister-in-law give an account of the unfortunate event in which he killed his wife and daughter.
Araceli Santoyo described her sister, Adriana Miller, as a loving wife who cared deeply for Michael Miller in spite of his mental derangement.
Yet, she said, Michael blatantly betrayed Adriana, murdering her and the couple’s daughter in a fit of ire.
“She would have done anything and everything for you,” Santoyo told Michael Miller.
“She could never have imagined in her worst nightmares that one day she would have to try to protect herself from you.”
Michael Miller was sentenced to life in prison for the killings of his wife and 10-year-old daughter.
Miller was slammed an additional 10½ year sentence for attempting to murder his 4-year-old son.
In October, Michael , 29, pleaded guilty to using a kitchen knife to stab his wife and daughter to death.
Michael also admitted attempting to kill his son, but the boy survived narrowly.
The state had wanted the death penalty for Miller, but Judge Paul McMurdie of Maricopa County Superior Court withdrew the request at the urging of the victim’s family.
Plenty of emotional relatives watched the proceedings from the courtroom gallery.
Michael’s brother, Mitchell Miller, sobbed as he addressed the court, claiming Michael Miller was a great husband and father but suffered from a deteriorating mental illness.
Michael Miller is supposedly bipolar and schizophrenic.
“I know with all my heart that the man I know did not do this,” Mitchell Miller said.
He described how the family constantly worried about Miller’s condition, fearing whether he was having his medication and getting enough sleep.
“Every time we thought Mike was getting better, there was another setback,” Mitchell said.
According to a Glendale police, Michael Miller called 911 on May 30, 2009 to report he had just murdered his family.
Michael told police he lost control after getting into an argument with his wife about not sleeping enough the night before.
Michael said “God and Lucifer” told him to kill them and that he was “consumed by Satan.” Michael Miller said he was angry but did not understand why he was so enraged.
Police who reacted to the call found Miller’s son was breathing and the boy was rushed to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. Miller’s wife and daughter were found lifeless on the dining-room floor.
