Taylor Sanchez is a killer from Wisconsin who would murder her cellmate Cindy Schulz-Juedes at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution
According to court reports Taylor Sanchez would fatally beat sixty eight year old Cindy Schulz-Juedes inside of their cell at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution. Schulz-Juedes would suffer numerous skull fractures and broken ribs in the brutal assault

Taylor Sanchez Case
Taylor Sanchez was convicted Monday of killing her cellmate at the Taycheedah Correctional Institution. Sentencing is scheduled for July 28.
Sanchez, 29, pleaded no contest to first-degree intentional homicide for the July 19, 2023 murder of Cindy Schulz-Juedes at the women’s prison near Fond du Lac, court records show.
The plea avoids a trial, which had been scheduled for July 21.
A not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect plea was considered in the case but later abandoned.
According to the criminal complaint, staff responded to cell 410, where Schulz-Juedes, 68, was found in a pool of blood. Only she and Sanchez were in the cell.
A prison sergeant asked Sanchez what happened, and she said “I was hearing voices telling me to kill her,” the complaint states.
Investigators also reviewed the recording of call Sanchez made to her mother after the incident.
"At 3:55 mom asks Taylor, "What happened, why did you beat somebody up"? Taylor says, "Um, I don't know". She adds, "I stopped taking my meds and I started hearing voices again." Taylor adds, "I thought she was using my toothbrush to scrub the toilet" and says, "I thought she was using my stuff to wipe the floor with and I thought she was messing with me." Sanchez's mom responded is, "Oh, God!"," the complaint states.According to the autopsy, Schulz-Juedes had “skull fractures too numerous to count,” along with 34 rib fractures, bruises on arms, chest and abdomen, and other injuries, the complaint states.
After the murder, Sanchez was moved from Taycheedah to a supervised living facility, Dept. of Corrections records show.
Schulz-Juedes was convicted in Marathon County of her husband’s 2006 murder in October 2021. In June 2022, she was sentenced to life without the eligibility of parole.
Sanchez was sentenced to 18 months in prison in August, 2022 for battery or threat to law enforcement in Kenosha, plus another two years for battery to an inmate. Her sentence on that was completed in August, 2024. She is being in the Fond du Lac County jail on a $1 million cash bond.

An inmate at Wisconsin’s women’s prison accused of brutally beating her cellmate to death will spend the rest of her life behind bars.
Fond du Lac County Circuit Judge Tricia Walker sentenced 29-year-old Taylor Sanchez to life without parole Monday in connection with 68-year-old Cindy Schulz-Juedes’ death in 2023 at Taycheedah Correctional Institution.
According to a criminal complaint, staff at the Fond du Lac prison discovered Schulz-Juedes’ body in the cell she shared with Sanchez in July 2023. Sanchez later called her mother and told her that she beat Schulz-Juedes to death with her bare hands because she had stopped taking her medication, was hearing voices and thought Schulz-Juedes had cleaned a toilet with Sanchez’s toothbrush, the complaint says.
Sanchez initially pleaded not guilty due to insanity. Online court records show she changed the plea in June to no contest, a legal construct in which defendants choose not to fight the charges against them but don’t admit guilt. The plea results in a conviction the same as if the defendant had pleaded guilty or been found guilty by a jury.
Sanchez was serving a two-year sentence for battery at the time of the alleged attack. Schulz-Juedes was serving a life sentence for killing her husband in 2021.
